steadi

One finger, one line. Don't slip off.

steadi is a calm, mean little line-tracing game for Android. One hundred hand-built levels that start easy and quietly turn vicious.

How to play it now It is in closed testing on Google Play.
A steadi pulse level: a crimson track glowing against a dark field, with the finger ring partway along the trace

One rule, one hundred levels

Follow the line from start to finish with one finger, without sliding off. Easy at first. Then the line starts fighting back.

steadi level 7, The wave: a broad green winding track on a dark field with the finger ring mid-trace
Early days: The wave
steadi level 16, The pinch: an indigo track that narrows to a tight squeeze, with the finger ring right at the pinch

Play it now, before it launches

steadi is in closed testing on Google Play, which is how a new app gets out to a small group before it goes public. Anyone can join. It takes two extra taps, and everyone who does keeps premium free for life.

  1. Join the tester group

groups.google.com/g/steadi-testers and tap "Join group". This is what unlocks the Play Store listing for your account.

  2. Install steadi from Google Play

Get it on Google Play. If the page says the app is not available, you are signed into a different Google account than the one in step 1.

  3. Keep it on your phone

No feedback, no forms, no homework. Play it if you fancy it, ignore it if you don't. Google only asks that testers stay opted in while steadi works its way to a public launch.

Everyone in the tester group keeps premium free, for life. If steadi ever gets adverts or a paid unlock, testers never see either.

Two things: Android only for now, and the email you join with must be the Google account signed into your phone's Play Store, or the install link will not work.
